According to the Curaçao Tourist Board, Curaçao saw a 5.0% increase in stopover visitor arrivals in September, growing from 31,094 stopovers in September 2017 to 32,654 this year. Stopover visitors from the USA grew by 16.9%, from 4,017 in September 2017 to 4,694 in September 2018.
In the first nine months of 2018 Curaçao has seen a 5.7% increase in the number of stopover visitors, growing from 293,160 in 2017 to 309,732 this year. The number of stopovers from the USA has grown by 19.0% during the first nine months, from 45,111 in 2017 to 53,684 through September 2018.
The number of cruise visitors grew 70.8% in September, from 24,317 in September 2017 to 41,538 this year. Through the first nine months of 2018 the number of cruise visitors to Curaçao grew by 25.5%, from 410,158 visitors in 2017 to 514,817 this year.
