According to the Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association, (AHATA), the hotels in Aruba saw a 2.9 percentage point drop in average hotel room occupancy in November 2018 compared to November last year, falling from 86.1% in 2017 to 83.2% this November. The hotels Average Daily Room rate (ADR) improved by 10.0% however, from $210.25 in November 2017 to $231.31 this year. Revpar grew by 6.4%, from $181.03 in 2017 to $192.54 in November 2018.
Through the first eleven months of 2018 the hotels in Aruba have achieved an average room occupancy of 84.9%, down from 85.5% for the first eleven months of 2017. The hotels’ ADR has grown by 11.5% in the same eleven months, from $234.12 in 2017 to $260.93 this year, while revpar has grown by 10.6%, from $200.11 in 2017 to $221.41 in 2018.
Aruba has 5,300 hotel rooms.
