According to the Grenada Tourism Authority, Grenada saw the volume of stopover arrivals increase by 17.0% in December 2018, growing from 14,545 arrivals in December 2017 to 17,018 arrivals in December 2018. Stopover arrivals from the USA grew by 13.2%, from 6,992 in December 2017 to 7,913 in December 2018 and increased by 4.0% from the U.K., from 2,062 arrivals in December 2017 to 2,145 in December 2018. Cruise arrivals fell by 12.4%, from 78,628 cruise visitors in December 2017 to 68,901 cruise visitors in December 2018.
In calendar year 2018 Grenada saw a 10.0% increase in the volume of stopover arrivals, growing from 146,375 arrivals in 2017 to 160,970 arrivals in 2018. Arrivals from the USA increased by 12.4% in 2018, growing from 67,252 arrivals in 2017 to 75,577 arrivals in 2018 while arrivals from the U.K. grew by 1.7% in 2018, growing from 25,532 stopovers in 2017 to 25,960 stopovers in 2018. The number of cruise visitors grew by 14.5% in 2018, from 299,449 cruise visitors in 2017 to 342,826 in 2018.
