According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority Las Vegas saw the volume of visitors increase by 2.3% in December 2018, growing from 3,194,800 visitors in December 2017 to 3,267,600 arrivals in December 2018.
Las Vegas had 147,238 hotel rooms in December 2018 (up 0.2% compared with December 2017) and achieved an average city-wide room occupancy of 79.9% (up 2.5 percentage points compared with December 2017), an ADR of $119.83, (up 10.9% compared with December 2017) and a RevPar of $95.74, up 14.5% also compared with December 2017. During calendar year 2018 Las Vegas saw a 0.2% decrease in the volume of visitors, falling from 42,214,200 arrivals in 2017 to 42,116,800 visitors in 2018. Las Vegas achieved an average city-wide room occupancy of 88.2% in 2018 (down 0.5 percentage points compared with 2017), an ADR of $128.85, (up 1.2% compared with 2017) and a RevPar of $113.54, up 0.7%, also compared with 2017.
